Ultimately NO POSITIONS REMAIN. Do people really not get this?

I worked for Kohls before, they opperate on a simple store format, very similar to what Sears is attempting, Kmart has been simply ran for years. FLS has been protected and spoiled for decades, as sad as it is too see quality people go, Sears needs to trim some fat, and should have many years ago. Unfortunately FLS should trim its management fat, but always opt to eliminate the store positions to avoid legal actions. One market/district manager let go would save about 5-6 people in the store.

Number of leads in a store is dictated by a stores profitable contribution and then by departmental sales and local regulations. If you knew your profit, it would be easier to guess.

Simple store will kill off sears and kmart. Not that it needs it. The roll-out has been a disaster so far. A simple store concept works for mom and pop and small stores. It's won't work for big box retail

Still haven't figured it out yet?

Sears won't even be around in a year.
