I don't know who the heck you are talking about. I am just relaying what I saw happen at AP after the acquisition. The TSEs who were affected didn't make any decision to sell out, they just got out of a bad situation.
And tht's an excuse for what oracle does, how?
AcmePacket management sold out when they took the $$$ from Oracle. Don't blame Oracle for what happened as it's your former management who took the cash and ran.
After AP was acquired by ORCL, many of the tech support people left, and several of the managers as well. They all knew what was coming. Oracle has a terrible reputation for completely assimilating and snuffing out anything non-Oracle, and they had better opportunities with more agreeable companies. I don't think anything has changed. If you have those skills, you will be OK.
and it is f---ed up that people are loosing their jobs at Oracle, back planning on their part... more bowel reports coming.
