The customer never forgets. It's why the leading tech companies have gotten behind AMD. AMD is not going price gouge. It's not been leading the war but it's going to win the war. My money's on AMD. Buy now or cry later.

You are all correct. You lose trust with your customer because you see a way to exploit them thinking no one else is in the game. You then are blindsided. Arrogance does this and it is the undoing of intel.
...MSFT also announced AMD. DCG is increasing risk from customer perspective - must commit to proprietary FPGA, proprietary fabric, proprietary memory (3DXpoint)...not to mention x86...strong pushback happening - let alone price competition - so how does DCG grow exactly? And now Intel betting on DCG as the center ????
MSFT just turned against Intel as well and confirmed it's building Windows Server on QCOM's ARM chips for Azure Cloud. This happens when you fail to listen to customers and treat them with such arrogance as Intel has for at least the past 4-5 years.
