After 20 years of loving my job and dedication to Fiserv I was let go due to "Reduction in Workforce" . It was quite a shock and only took about 14 minutes from start to finish. I thought I was calling in to have my annual goal setting meeting. Boy, was I wrong!

Same story all over the Fiserv (family) HAH! The reviews are dictated by upper management... even our own opinions on our own work. What a game they play. Im sure the International plays into this
25 yrs fot me. Same MO. One on one with my manager... should have been a annual review
- never had one... but it was a lay off for me. What c-ap!
Yep, I was an executive with 22 years with the company. My age was not an asset anymore, it was unspoken, but I heard "too old".
Such a terrible business plan
Wondering how many, and what areas they were in
I am very sorry to hear this...
Oh, worked from home for the past year after the office was closed.
I worked in the conversions out of the old southwest region. I find the close to or at retirement age very interesting...
Similar thing happened to me last year. Was working from home and got a phone call telling me that that day was my last. A phone call for crying out loud. Typical Fiserv.
That really s---s, I'm sorry. Can I ask what dept.'s got hit this week?
I'm sorry to hear this. Which location were you at?
Just the beginning of your "shocks"
Same here out of Portland office. New top manger I had never ever met or spoken to. Thought it was introduction to connect. several have commented that the last two layoffs have been only those close to or at retirement age.
I'm sorry. Give yourself time to process this.
Unfortunately your story there is not uncommon.
