They make some compelling arguments. It would certainly end the Austin goons' periodic buyout rumor mills. I'd like to be able to sell my shares-- or hold them as Amazon grows. What do you all think?
I could see Kroger buying us out just because their expansion strategy seems to be based on the elimination of competitors via aggressive mergers/buyouts. They wouldn't stand to gain much else from it, investment-wise, but it would take a major player out of the game for them.
So sad, that I hope/pray that someone like Amazon buys us out. There is no hope with our current leadership.....They are all here in SoCal for Expo....staying in Laguna Beach and eating for free in our stores...without speaking to anyone below the rank of RP...and even the RP/RVPs hardly speak with anyone. They are all ABOVE it....
Amazon doesnt want the baggage...
Finding omega says why would a real next gen corp like amazon settle for whole foods? We're not lowering prices and that's the swan song.
