The tekelec products acquired by oracle provide for almost all of the core signaling capability in the US providers PSTN networks and much of the mobile 3 and 4g networks. If you haven't guessed already that software development has been moved overseas and now is entirely in the hands of India and China.

Oracle will keep trimming non-cloud products to show the "growth" numbers. If you are working on a non-cloud related projects, find a new job now.
