Glad I left in 2015. I started with VzW in 2003, it was a great company and continued to be under the tutelage of Vodafone. Denny fostered a great company, even Lowell was "human" back then; now its a screwed up mess! They decimated the great VzW management model and replaced it with more of the same Verizon crap and made it a horrible company....

Denny turned down the iPhone and spent his time looking for dirty carpets in wireline buildings. Why do you think he was shown the door?
VZW was "great" when wireless products sold themselves. Now that there is market saturation and competition they can't handle it. Wireless can look forward to being treated like crap as the wireline employees have been for the last 20 years.
Verizon just asked me to use throttled when describing sprint or at&t. But not to use that term describing VZW. I have decided to leave this shady outfit as a result, because we are all doing the same thing on unlimited plans. I am a senior leader, that has neen around through several aquisitions, and i am super disappointed in the shady spin. If anyone has a sprint, tmobile or at&t hook up, i would be happy to to expose the devil company.
Denny was the best. Him plus Vodafone owning 45% of Wireless kept it stable and successful.
Verizon retiree chiming in.........Have Quantum package since conception and love it...99.9% uptime over years of service. Cancelled cellphone service due to high cost, other vendor is half the cost with no change in service. The utter stupidity of the people running/ruining this company is utterly mind boggling! Only consolation......these morons did not lead 3rd Army to rescue the 101st at Bastogne during WW2. McAdams..........the hour will come when you stand before the Almighty and answer for the lives,hopes, and dreams you have destroyed for so many people and families. Hope you like high temperature and cellphones ringing constantly in your ears for eternity!
OP, I have more time in the bathroom then you had around here. Wireless management is the root of all the problems.

Wireless was always a dilusional piece of crap company draining the profits to prop up an ancient technology. Reality is now setting in and most wireless employees can't handle it.
I agree 100% - what a mess VzW has become and it's sad to see that happen.
Lowell was always an a$$hole. Now he runs the whole show. But I do agree VZ Com is pretty much a pseudo government operation. And we know that means: inefficient, obsolete and wasteful.
