look, I was on the shuttle when this OWG in a vintage star wars tee-shirt (the 1977 poster) sat down next to me, and he told me that computing was more fun and everybody liked it better when there was no "cloud" and you could get your hands dirty modifying your board and you had dial-ups and besides, intel made money hand over fist back when wintel ran the world and client was king... so how you gonna "make Intel great again?" Go back to the things that worked in the past, like Trump is doing with the USA. F--- this cloud baloney and self-driving cars nonsense.
At first I thought he was just a crank, but he told about how he he's been around since the 80s and he's had three blue badges and two greens and moved around to different business groups so he's seen it all. He demonstrated perl scripts and tcl on his napkin. He knew all the in-house Intel tools. He groused that he had to take the shuttle just to go to a team building event (pizza and trampoline dodgeball) but his SC based manager (a Sri Lankan transwoman on an H1B) insisted that it was critical he attend.
I took a look at the grey hairs in his beard, and the two inches of gut that hung below the bottom of his tee-shirt, and I knew that this guy was classic intel. A guy like that must know what's going on.
