Unionize? So what? Things can run like the auto industry like it is for software.
Bob is paid 5 cents for each bit he flips.
Tom is paid 10 cents for each byte he flips
Jerry is paid 20 cents for each byte he takes a two's complement of.
Mark is paid 50cents for each malloc and free he uses
David is paid 60 cents each bug he finds
Dan is paid 80 cents each bug he fixes.
No one can flip the MSB of a 64 bit integer unless they have are unionized and have specialised to flip the MSB of a 64 bit integer.
Floating point calculations are only allowed on Tuesdays and Thursday, and any floating point calculation done after 5pm is 1.5x overtime on the clock....

That's ridiculous. The better thing to do if you dislike working for Intel so much is to leave. Unionization is an asinine strategy. Going Galt and leaving Intel to H1-B's and diversity candidates is a much better strategy.
If you don't feel like working anymore and just want some LOL then give it a try!

In high tech, unions are for people who are uncompetitive by themselves.
