I wonder how the organization see the impact of this team, it's a heavy organization of almost 300 people, that was reorganized being of this FY, but looks like it is highly visible and with a quite sound vision, any comments or thoughs on that?

@4vyo at least IBSG had a shred of credibility with customers. Cisco gear still a big part of SPs. DTG just stretches the tiniest things into BS.
DTG = IBSG
Honestly, many typical tenured mid-level folks, are in simplistic existence-only mode, wondering when their own requisition will be harvested. Lots of folks once extremely motivated souls now on autopilot. Wish it was different.
Waste of $$$. Wasn't aware it was such a huge org.
Sadly, it's sort of needed. Customers love to sit opposite their "equal". It's why g10 sales call themselves account directors.
But I thought it was just literally 30 marketing bulls hitters. Terrible.
Lots and lots of internal strategy meetings. Anyone know the OPEX if this team as lots of senior folks on big bucks. Deal chasers who are just piggybacking on local sales and making a nice pptx from it.
They are a complete waste of space and money. Word is they aren't respected at the top, so I give them until July.
I don't expect this group to last in its current configuration beyond this fiscal year. During my tenure they spent all their time flying around the globe to internal strategy meetings. They've got a hold of everything and think they're defining the future, but their sales leader is basically a poser and the team has almost nothing to show for its efforts.
DTG is simply the new ibsg -same setup and thinking
They are there to look at ways to automate and digitise every aspect of the business, even sales. It is the future buzz word or not.
Looks like a group that's never touched by LR's too.
