Seems to have been a significant cull again the last few weeks. Several hundred souls lost their jobs but Credit to the Cisco PR machine for somehow managing to keep it out of the media. At least they are good for something

If there is no more engineers 40+ to shed and new graduates are leaving, the directors should be next to axe, then VPs? H1Bs are also axed and rehire as contractors.

@1akf Management is the main redundant area (especially Dir and above), but they keep their jobs. That's the key problem.....they want new blood, but keep the old blood at the top.

It will accelerate. Cisco will be a great profitable $30b company. Must shed more management and redundant developed first. This space is deflationary.
