Thread regarding Whole Foods Market Inc. layoffs

Unappreciated!

Can anyone tell me why as a team member or team leader no matter how hard you work, follow policies and do your job, you are still disrepected and unappreciated by your stl?

Because TL's and ATL's care only for themselves. If you get bossed around, picked on, treated with disrespect it makes it look as if they are doing there jobs just fine, and you are not doing yours. It's ok to treat us "nobody's" like this...it's a power rush to them.

The regional offices have both hidden and not hidden surveillance devices be forewarned. That's why you never see the big wigs. Why would they come see you when they can just drop eves. LOL

Not at my store. We have had a string of "separations" and finals. It's amazing how bad the morale of the store has been affected. I know the Whole Foods die hards will call out and say "it's deserved" and people are bad apples. But at my store people who have worked in retail for 20 years have never seen anything like it. The sad thing is store leadership is in the office posting "push up challenge" posts on facebook in between spending 3/4 of their shift looking in the cameras. Most people in retail invest in pushing sales and people. This place seems to push drama and decent.

I have seen plenty of stupid write ups. Usually a grudge match going on.

You never have to sign anything. Could be counseling statements and you ate on you way to a write up.

I've had two written things that I signed about the chips not being fronted well enough. Was the second a write up or were they both coachings? What's the procedure for the firing process?

I've never seen a writup or firing that wasn't deserved. You get like 20 chances at wfm that other real jobs would never even tolerate in the first place. Like the chronically late ppl omg learn how to be on time my god.

If you've been there a while, and are making a few dollars more than most YOU ARE ON THE EXPENDABLES LIST. By making you feel unappreciated their hope is for your resignation. Gratuitous write-ups (where's your name tag/ who's unopened drink is this) make you feel bad enough to quit.

Sounds like a snowflake. Do you need whole foods to provide you a safe space.

I used to appreciate myself everyday with bong hits when I worked for Whole Foods. That seemed to work with most of the people I worked with

Go get a job at the mini mart down the street (or that fast food joint) and see how 'appreciated' you feel!

You're possibly a bad team member or team leader and don't realize it, just sayin. Most likely your stl just s---s and I'm sorry. Every organization has bad bosses.

Do not look outside of yourself for validation. Do good work and always be reliable. Bad leadership always gets what it deserves in the end. We all get the fruits that we sow.

You're a bad a-- and that's that.

Shine on.
