lol verizon paid for all these "marketing capabilities" that everybody else already rummaged through. hahaha we got to drink from the cup last and got stuck with that monster bill for garbage. so stupid.
Verizon should have never made this purchase in the first place. This will open us even wider to lawsuits that we cant afford to defend, pay or settle on. Yahoo has blamed the on the imaginary Russian hackers . The truth is that it was never secure so nobody had to breach anything. This is like buying a mattress full of bedbugs and mold. . Verizon is stupid for this.
So the shareholders are arguing Verizon is bad because yahoo agreed to keep some liability for the hacks that happened before the purchase. Besides being a typical deal term for a sale, if Verizon had not purchased Yahoo the liability would stay 100% with the shareholders.
There's nothing here except for overreach by ambulance chasing lawyers.
