Saw record revenue and profits that totally justified the action.

Saw the company chase IoT, modems, AI, drones and all other tech fads throwing people and money blindly.

Saw a crazy deal of 15billion thrown at a company almost all analysts and outsiders shocked and scratching their heads.

The core business continues to slide neither meeting growth or profit targets.

Intel released a third and will soon release a fourth generation on 14nm as 10nm continues to slip. While competitors pull in schedules intel slips them. Physics I was told was the same in Hillsboro as it is in Korea and Taiwan, but I have discovered management isn't and that is the secret.

Moore's law is relentless and never ending and Samsung and TSMC have huge scale and desperation need to succeed and for the most part marching ahead faster.

Qualcomm, Nvidia, MediaTek, ARM, Apple and many more are driving the ARMy ecosystem.

MS,FB, Google, and Apple can't wait so one enough to nurture health completion and an alternative.

New initiatives like AI, Autonomous driving, IoT, memory all have well funded and tough competitors. intel likes to remember they days day crushed AMD, sorry your current competitors are far bigger and better positioned than AMD. Let's not forget AMD beat intel then later itself. Not hard to beat intel actually with the way they are executing.

Frankly never has the completion looked so well funded and positioned, and never has intel leadership and execution been so weak.

Those that still are at intel need to decide do they power on and believe they will survive or get the hell out before the next ACT.

Will get one batch of RSU and GTFO. Intel is for PowerPoint warriors.

Good post to make everyone think! about the situation at Intel and simply consider the options. What the OP is saying is true and the Intel employees that understand Intel know it... BK and the Board can burn tens of billions on very bad investments but they can't stop the competition and they can't stop time. We will be here to tell all the Intel "fan boys" and stupid people that choose to go down with the ship that "we told you so"

My advice to the younger, get out now before the total collapse occurs and the intel name and experience is still worth something.
