Let's assume AMD captures just 10% of the client market from Intel. Intel generates $36bn in revenue here so 10% is 3.6bn. Intel has gross margin of 60% so this equates to approx $2.1bn of lost operating profit. ACT last year "saved" $2.3bbq. QED! If there was ever any doubt of another ACT ...

Intel has finally lost its crown to AMD so I guess hiring too many H1B won't save them. This is what u get when hiring cheap engineers.
This will make ACT look like a rehearsal
Let's not forget 4.5B gain is far more loss in Intel revenue as Intel unit loss is with huge price reduction too.

All we need to know is what is coming out and what isn't 😉
Why is there a Kaby and Coffee?
When was Canon supposed to show up based on presentations two years ago?
Please pull out the foils from Mark and Bill from two years ago?
Isn't Moores Law the biggest competitive advantage in reducing cost and improving density? Why would Intel after crushing everyone with Tick Tock retreat now and slow down when things are at its most dire time. In Andy's day the company would have doubled down and got products out faster not slower.
Hey some more scary thing to consider.
1) Intel is making Kaby and soon Coffee and they are Bigger die then ever planned on 14nm. That means less die / wafer and higher cost than forecast, opps more cost and less output
2) Rumor there are daily TF on yield on 14nm which means not at same level as 22nm which means not at the only more cost or but also less output planned than a year ago. Opps more cost and less output. Lucky AMD to fill the need!
3). Every plan from a year ago promised 10nm and yet no 10nm. But the equipment in the fabs and wafers are running but nothing to sell. The biggest opps of all billions in cost and no output but some pretty key chains
4). New projects in IoT, modems, memory, AI, and let's not forget billions on acquisition that yield minimum revenue and drop GM
5). Got AMD putting competitive products in at pricing forcing price response from Intel driving both revenue and margins down.
6) Got the invading ARMy coming with server chips on 10nm this year and 7nm next year to real kick BK in the nuts .
More ACTs to hold margins are a must 😱
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
For the McDonalds trolls
