Transfered to another dept?

Has anybody inquired to be changed to a different department? Would they look at this request negatively?

There is no promotion in the company. Rather people are "elected" into better roles depending on who their friends are. No career ladder here. I have my talent profile filled out and have done so much as a nurse, kill myself to make metrics and support my teammates, but I don't get recognition either.

It seems we are owned by our Coach and if we want to be moved to another department it is not very well accepted! Such pathetic and unfriendly company this is!!!!

How pathetic is this? How are people in Manila or Puerto Rico going to serve our mbrs? Why are they doing this to the Mbrs and to us?

I was transferred against my wishes to another team after my previous role was transferred to Manila. Not only am I classified as a new hire but I'm also 2 positions lower than where I was. Humana is sending the good role overseas and leaving the states with the roles that assist Manila when they can't handle something. The states are now Manilas clean up crew.

In terms of transferring to another role, it depends on what you mean and how you do it. Whether you apply for a job that is open in another area or want to move to a diferent role within your own department, you must do it for the right reasons. One way to do this is to fill our your development plan and make it clear that you want to expand your skills, or be exposed to other areas of the company, or get a broader understanding of Humana. You must do this in a positive way - never because you are just trying to escape your current role. Keep your frustration to yourself and let your leader know you have growth goals and really want to gain exposure, learn more. Hiring managers can tell if someone is applying for a job just to get out of the old one. Never trash the old job, Trust me on this

What is RS? Rightsource? Referral specialist? How many people were moved and when? What does a RS do??

So have any HAH RN care managers been transferred to RS? Wow do they keep the same pay scale? Something big is about to happen. That does not make sense. Wonder if Humana is going to file bankruptcy then they will not have to pay out as much to the employees

Other associates, high performing care managers, have been moved to RS roles. I'm unsure if this is what they refer to but that is happening.

Can I ask what role you are in or what you were moved to? Maybe just one or the other so you don't give your identity away. I know they discussed combining SH and HCCP at the last all staff meeting. What that means, no one knows.

I was transferred to another role without my consent for an undefined amount of time and depending on business needs I will not move back to my role. According to my leader we do not have enough members for us to maintain rosters.
