Sears is self insured so there was no place to recover. No sears store has *))K in jewelry. Maybe $2,500

When you get caught shoplifting, you are responsible for the ticketed price of the merchandise. Makes LP look better everywhere.

Even so, that's a heck of a lot of jewelry for Sears.

Too bad for Sears that he got caught, could have made $830k on the insurance claim. Now they have to actually sell the jewelry.
