Thread regarding Whole Foods Market Inc. layoffs

Whole Foods loses millions of customers...

Barclays analyst estimates WFM has lost between 9 and 14 million customers in the last 6 quarters mainly due to Kroger, not good since next earnings report is expected to be 2.5 percent or greater decline in same store sales, so does WFM have more lifeboats then the Titanic? What do you have to say about that Mr. Mackey?

Yet leadership will still lay into you for negative comps and not making labor like it's the teams' fault. Unreal

There are dedicated WF team members at each of these stores that are passionate about what they do, and really want to work for a company that cares about their team members, customers, animal welfare, and our environment. Our livelihood depends on our jobs, and some of us have already been directly affected by our stores closing. It's not the "psychopaths", "narcissistic leaders" and John Mackey that are negatively affected most when you rejoice in more Whole Foods stores closing- it's more of us that are working hard to earn our paychecks.

Love it. We reap what we sew Johnny Mac. Your ineptitude and ego have ruined your dream. This time when the flood comes the town isn't gonna bail your sorry a$$ out. You've lost the team members and now you've lost the customers. Ask coordinators who will talk. Gallo and the rest have no plan but will tout the industry leading canned tuna that they have. It's a joke. More stores will be announce to close at the end of the fiscal year.

Whole Foods didn't start out as Mrs. Gooch's.

I wonder in they factored in all of the canibalization that has taken place. Sales have softened in my region but the stores doing the worse are the ones that had a new whole foods open up close by. You didn't really lose those customers. They just decided to shop at the newer store.

I guess all the focus is on SOP - Save-Our-Profits. Nothing but nothing other than rebranding will save this company. JMHO

Would someone please tell me why WF consistently hires Narcissistic Leaders? They are psychopaths hiring psychopaths. I spend at least 1 hr per day documenting my work and sending copies to an outside mail so as to have a record of my work on top of the 50 charts we now have to fill out. Just more ways to write us up for a bogus missed checkmark. Maybe we should just sell stuff and make money. But we don't have time for that. Silly employees.

Who,e Foods, started out as Mrs Goochs in Texas and CA, and when Corporate greed and unethical, deceptive practices took over, ( and much earlier on than most would believe) it's gone downhill ever since, not just for customers but for employees. And the boys club, the disgustingly greedy pigs/boys on top that are making all the money are nearing a catastrophic collapse. You reap what you sow Mother F---ers!
