Went to Marshalls today and saw two Calvin Klein shirts and polos that we just recently got in our store last week. One for 25 (polo we sold for 70) and the v neck for 15 (that we sold for 30). It's no wonder our customers are flocking to the Marshalls/TJMaxx/Burlingtons of the country when they can get newness for less than half the price at our stores. Yes we have Last Act but those items have been in our stores for months. Sad!

I purchased a $107 Kenneth Cole swimsuit at Macy's and also another at "Everything but Water". Found the same swimsuit at Marshalls a couple weeks after for 29.99. Bought it and returned the others. See ya bye Macy's
I've seen much of our offerings at Marshall's in my area. Usually, I would see things a season behind. But lately (last few months), I see offerings from only a few weeks prior. The churn is getting worse--almost to the point where we sell half our inventory to TJX, just so we can grab some cash.
I've also seen where we put things on the racks on a Monday, remove them on the following Monday and RTV them...so they can go to TJX.
Money's tight!
Everything I got from Marshalls did not last for long, probably less than a month and I have never seen things in TJ or Marsh were fresh out from Macy's. Unless it happens just recently?!
