Getting the severance package was like hitting the lottery. I feel for all of you.

HCM RNs had an impromptu meeting today. This was done suddenly so they could tell us all at the same time. I thought this was it, my severance package, but no. I will keep looking. They offered us relief in the form of lowered expectations but from other posts that I have read, a lot of the RNs feel it is a temporary stay so more RNs don't quit.

I'm an impacted HCC with a BSW degree and had been very unhappy with the SNP HCC role. It was wonderful 3 yrs ago and then it became a nightmare. The poster is absolutely right about having to be done documenting before taking a break ....that is so they can see how LONG u take to document. Some teammates would get an IM from our coaches asking if they needed help because they were taking so long to document. And then wait until TQR starts checking all your care plans..that is another nightmare. It may as well be a call center job and the poor members do not get the help they need anymore because u have to make yr metrics or else!! Who wants to be micromanaged like that....we are professionals but treated like children.

For those of us on auto dialer in the SNP program, our hours have increased from 8 to 4:30 and now 9 to 6, or whenever we finish documenting. We are told in a meeting that we HAVE to take our lunches and breaks at our scheduled time or we forfeit them, then, later in the day, we get an email stating we CANNOT take scheduled breaks or lunch until we finish the documentation of the call we just completed. Just how often are we going to magically finish the documentation right at break/lunch time? Never. So what is the message? Every day there is something new and restrictive. We are talked to like we are children, being punished for some unknown deed. We have had inadequate training for a new role (RN) outside of our scope (HCMSS) without so much as a "sorry". PTO is almost impossible to take. Looking for a new job and hoping to be laid off.
