Just got the notice of layoff today as well. IBM acquired the company I worked for and did 1 big layoff a year after the acquisition cutting us in half and now more of us are gone. We all made the company what it is but I guess that doesn't matter. (EAST COAST)

IBM acquisitions are an unbroken string of failures. Anybody remember Price Waterhouse Consulting? I'm sure whoever managed that axquisition got fired long ago.
