Ut-Oh. This just in, folks. IBM has canceled the World of Watson conference that was slated for this October. Not exactly a good thing. They say they'll fold all of their conferences together in March 2018, since nobody really goes to them anymore. Wow, what an indictment!

It's the Think "JAM" so at least it has a stupid buzz word. I got one of those memos this week - cut costs, cut costs, cut costs. I hadn't seen one in a long time so I guess things are just getting worse.

Not surprising... Internally, IBM is shooting memo right and left that expenses must be cut to the bone This is the only thing that IBM has left reduce cost as revenues are in free fall. Nothing this CEO is doing is working. Time to replace her with a real Tech guy from outside the company.

Yup ..... the Edge (May), Amplify (Mar), InterConnect (Feb) and World of Watson (Oct) conferences are being combined in March 2018 ... it will be called IBM Think 2018 ... in Las Vegas ... don't bet on it ...
