HCMRN in HCCP. Coach was laid off today.... who knows what they are gonna do with us... said we will know better next week...

Yes, very sadly my amazing, wonderful Coach is one who,is leaving. My heart is so sad & heavy.
My sentiments exactly! Please let professionals do their job without being suffocated by the micromanaging. It truly is hard to work when you're constantly worried about if what your saying fits the script given today, because yesterday it was something completely different. While still trying to navigate the newer system.
I agree with the poster who talked about coaches managing 18 employees. .. it's part of Humanas culture of EXTREME micromanagement. ... it's a waste of time and money. Very difficult to do a job with 3 layers of management standing on your neck. Let professionals do their job.
I have heard there are 1000s of member that are needing a case manager due to all the nurses that have quit. They may be hiring just to re-fill the need.
I do see the need to consolidate the coach role. I don't know any full-time management position that only manages 18 people.
If they are hiring more RNs, why are coaches being laid off? Sorry you lost your coach. Hope all the PHCs and CHEs find jobs soon.
They said no 'member facing' social workers and nurses were affected. That would not include management. SS coaches took a hit too. Best guess is they will split us up among the remaining teams.
