Yes, need a card. Costs $40. But you can use your PWA for that at most places in LA.

Legally you can only use pwa. Funds for federally qualified medical items. The credit card reader has to be encrypted as a medical provider, so I am sure someone would cash it out for a percentage of the funds just like they would with food stamps. It would be tax fraud, so you might not want to advertise it if you find some place of businesses ness that will do it.

If your in Nyc everyone knows the places you can go to cash out , can't give you everything . To answer yes there is ways to cash it out .
You can't get your PWA cashed out I don't believe. Your PTO you can. I left and I had to try to use my pwa money fast. I spent it on 4 new pairs of glasses and went to this website where you can filter it by accepted items. I spent $1000 quickly. You could also resell some of those items ; )

Can only cash out once a year for 70% value. Just use it up or when you quit or are fired you get 100%. But if you're stepped down to lower pay rate (if you're leadership) then the value goes down too
