If you are thinking of sticking around to see what happens you are not going to like it. They will use you and then throw you away like a moldy dish rag.

Just because people don't want to see your sad attempts to be funny doesn't mean they're denying the fact that sears is closing.
After what we went through during liquidation, I will say that the severance pay almost wasn't worth it. They are still paying it, but that could change. They have reduced the salaried managers down several times now. And if you are there if/when they file for bankruptcy, it might not be at Sears's discretion. A bankruptcy judge or trustee could disallow it. Many creditors will be fighting that employees don't get a two month paid vacation until after their debt has been settled.
