On a daily basis the DM sends an email that says (no joke) "You guys s---!". He always continues with "If I could, I would shut this store down today!". The DM, (whose name rhymes with pus) called all of the auto centers in his district (South Florida) the other day and told each of us that we had to let go all but one CSA positions in the store. Okay, I understand that this is just one more step to completely shutting down all of Sears but he told us that when we tell the CSA he is being let go we have to tell them that it is not the fault of Sears but they are being dumped because of our poor management abilities! He was 100% serious. Yes, my mouth fell open too.......

Of course it is ALWAYS the employees fault. Management at Sears Holdings is perfect and never the problem.

Calling the 800 number or ethics hotline does no good. I work for Kmart and they layed off our DM and sent another that is an absolute b**ch. Five of the Store Managers left within a month. Most walked off the job. They all called ASO. They told told all the associates at the stores that they were opening an investigation and sending out someone from legal and the Regional HR. Supposed to come last week. Never happened. THey just swept it under the rug
Honestly you need to call the 1800 or 1888 ethnics hotline if this is what you are experiencing. This is not normal and not okay.
Think about this, Sears is closing the auto centers, because they can not get anyone to purchase them?
