Similar to me although my POS laptop (or my shatty cube) wasn't even ready on my first day. I had left a good job after being recruited by Intel. Like acquisitions, Intel seems to be much better at hiring people than effectively gaining value from them!

@N58DVpm-qif Didn't get the unethical part, But would like to say I wasn't exactly jobless when I joined Intel. Its the small things that matter at any workplace. To begin with, On my first day, I was handed over a 4 years old dinosaur lenovo in a big box which I was supposed to carry around without a bag. How professional is that?

For a company like Intel, Learning should never be a personal choice but a mandate. I am pretty sure Its this philosophy of personal choice at Intel, Many people choose not to learn.

I see RSUs as something that just makes one complacent (Go look at your Manager). I am in love with my new job and this time its not just the work but the people who inspire me to go the extra mile, which btw At Intel, was far from reality.

You are so unethical...just remember who hired you when you were about to be jobless....learning is personal choice...how much you dedicate ..matters...wait till your new job shocks you....you found a job being in intel..

Same as every year. Are you new at Intel?

I was skeptical of leaving in January and loose all the RSU grants I was supposed to get this April. But I have to say Leaving Intel was one of the best decision I have ever taken. Not only did I earn all the money lost in the RSUs in form of increased salary, I also learned a lot in the past 4 months which I sometimes wonder might have taken 3-4 years, Had I stayed at Intel.
