@N6Ish5Y-1icd, Can I ask what company you are working for now? I may need to start a job search soon, because there is talk of layoffs in my org.
@N6Ish5Y-1icd Sometimes it does. When I was laid off from BAC I was working for the dumbest woman I ever met and her vindictive prick peer. Couldn't wait to get out but wasn't about to walk away from severance. Now I work for a really great company and a smart manager who appreciates my work and has my back. Good riddance to BAC!
Things never work out! Lives are screwed, people are hurt it's really ugly and a lot of the cases it's for really no reason other to make a little cut-back to someones budget. New people are re-hired soon afterwards to make up for the work that needs to be done, so the whole thing is a real farce basically to give upper management something to do and feel that they've accomplished something.
