Thread regarding DXC Technology layoffs

DXC Top Management please read this

Please learn to appreciate people. If keep cutting people is what you can do, you might as well cut the CEO CIO COO and all your L2.

To cut headcount and run lean, it just a task that easily executed.

To grow a company with massive revenue for the board and able to take care employee is a real hero.

In all, Lawrie earned $13.27 million in the company's fiscal 2014, which ended March 28. In fiscal 2013, he made $21.29 million. The bulk of his compensation was not from his salary, which was $1.24 million both years, but from stock awards.Jun 30, 2014

Cutting one can save hundred of people. Why not them?

Yea lets right source (out source ) the CEO, CIO etc to lower cost countries. The stock holders would make a bundle. I'll vote my shares for that if it ever comes up.

I think you need to understand that the higher up a person goes in the company, the less empathy they tend to have. When you get to the very top, people are seen as chess pieces.

A CEO or CIO is not going to suddenly say, "damn, he's right!!" and start having empathy. Doesn't work that way.

Understand that when you join a company of this size, and you won't be disappointed when your time is up. Move on, get another job, and don't let it bother you.
