What is ASN?

Just heard Coca Cola going to ASN,the writings on the wall.Plans are already in place,so be ready people.
Most things now going to ASN that barely works.Thats why they only need one person in the department.I know a lead and all they do now is help on the floor-was told not enough work for 3 people.
What structure change is going to happen to receiving? I am the lead. Should I be looking for a new job?
I was told they put it on hold because of the issues they've been having with audit team gone. They are still planning to let go of leads who only have a few people under them like office and marketing. Everything in receiving that can is going to asn. Wal-Mart already does this. It's GOING to change the structure of that department. I've heard and seen several posts discussing next couple of months. I'd bet my money on the rumors being true
Bunch of BS rumors
N7ixfgA-8fhf. so here it is june 6 and no one in recv or mkt laid off. rumors have virtually stopped
@n7xifga-8cnv. The audit layoffs were known about way before it happened. You can find posts about those "rumors" way before May. There are already Sam's clubs that have been testing the new marketing concept. Going to third party and focusing more on digital like groupon. Walmart has already cut back on receiving/invoice clerks and cut back in business office because of new counting equipment. It's gonna trickle down to Sam's too.
Where do you people come up with all theses dates about this and that happening? Looking back at so many comments on both sam's and w/m side they all had dates of impending gloom.
Those dates have come and gone and yes the audit team was elimated no one else By the way our 3 audit associates were given other jobs in club. no not cashier or door greeters. Maybe our gm just cared about his associates. stop with the rumors it's not right to keep babbling about what you know nothing of
This unfortunately makes sense then. Was told that receiving clerks and marketing team were getting let go on the 6th. Seems to be the right timing to start the next wave of layoffs.
Only that June 5th is the last day for audit teams
Haven't heard anything...what gives you the idea something is??
