Many companies do 360 reviews on a regular basis for obvious reasons, why doesn't oracle? Senior execs don't want to know what employees think?

Why is oracle laying off experience and highly qualified employees in North America and Western Europe and replacing them with new college grads and Rumanian/ Indian employees who are much less experienced and much less qualified ?

No no no. OD cannot possibly ever do all the selling for oracle or any other company. Perhaps field sales will be more specialized as time passes which makes sense . The used-car-salesman-on-every-corner-hardware-sales-approach is definitely a "thing" that has seen its last day. But regardless, there are public cloud data centers and private cloud data centers...all require some kind of HW that is on a recycling schedule and softwares that are continually being updated and modernized and managed. Honestly. Things are changing but not wholesale.

Who handles your marketing ? Why is the OPC or Oracle Public Cloud not even listed on the Forrester Wave or Gartner Magic Quadrant for Cloud Providers? Can you clarify the surprisingly new openings for 1293 new salespeople and over 2173 other technical roles as listed on the job boards? Is there any validity of laying off perfectly capable employees who could fill these new jobs?

Cloud strategy: oracle is investing a fraction of what each of the leading cloud companies, such as SFDC, AWS, MAFT, Google, are investing in cloud offering, what makes oracle think it can compete with much smaller investment?

Workforce strategy : how many people did oracle lay off in FY17? How many does it plan to lay off in FY 18? How many employees does oracle expect to have at end of FY18.

What is oracle's sales strategy - is oracle going to maintain a field sales force and if so how large, or is the plan to shift it all to OD?

Support: with the closeted and layoffs in support, what is the plan? What are the support locations that oracle is investing in and that will remain? What is the average experience/ tenure of people in those support locations ?
