Unhappy people should be proactive and leave at the earliest opportunity, and not stay and whine before their doomsday at Oracle arrives.

Old timers typically had below market salary. New hires got more salary than a 10 year employee. Yes oracle technology made us redundant to look for new career . Also some stayed for work at home privilege. Honestly some teams lost good people while people who don't do much stayed. Most work replaced by overseas team who are willing to work US hours. Glad to be out, though job outlook is not easy with oracle skills.
my oracle tenure has totally made me unmarketable, not that I don't wnat to find another job, i would leave if given 1/2 a chance
i got mouths to feed, so i have to grin an dbear it.
maybe doomsday will come, maybe i will live to be abused some more.
i like to some whine to go with my cheezze.
it helps me vent and cope. ;-)
