Women managers in HQ wireless Finance are all running around doing the fire drill routine to this day. Still would like to know what they are getting done. Oh look there goes one now !!!
The women managers I worked for in wireless were clueless, to the point of insanity.
I'm glad most of them are gone now. Now if we can just get rid of the skirt running ERT in Chandler, the company would take a huge step forward.

Here is my story. I worked two jobs and put myself through college and got my engineering degree. Worked for Bell Atlantic/Verizon for thirty years . Survived 15 years of rifs because I was the best. I had every job in engineering to make myself as valuable as I could. I stood on my own two feet unlike you associates. What a joke. Not a damn one of you could have done my job working 60 hours a week for the last four years before I retired on my own . I walked out the door two months ago without a rif. Every manager I had at Verizon was a coward. At one point in my 9 year career, I was considered mission critical. But then when I stood up against the lazy, lying Indian managers for what was right and good for the company .... I got my "package". And I'm sooooooooo glad to be gone. Cheers!
It's easy to find boot kickers. They are a dime a dozen. The real trick is finding a person who is fair , intelligent and knows how to manage. I had four managers during my career and none of them had the qualities I just expressed. Two were cowards and the other two paranoid ego maniacs . I almost decked one of them in my office after I questioned his reasoning and he exploded at me. Complete scumbag. Don't look for quality because it isn't there. Upper mgmnt wants yes people.
I had just as many over 10 years and the bozo lady in HQ Finance is still trying to run a show of nothing.
