Oracle in Trouble - Now a Employee Summt

The upcoming employee summit shows desperation. They never have a global 'Employee Summit'

Usually, they have some stupid town hall with MH repeating the same BS he gave on the analyst call.

Dear Oracle Team:

We have been on a remarkable journey over the last few years as we transform our company to lead the cloud. Each of you has been instrumental in propelling our progress, regardless of your role or where you work. Your contributions are essential as we continue to help our customers achieve great things with information technology. The future is now, and we are thrilled to have you on our team.

To celebrate our collective accomplishments, we are inviting all Oracle employees to join us online on Thursday, July 13 for a companywide Global Employee Summit. We will engage in a discussion around our growth strategy, including the actions being taken to drive employee success, lead with innovation, delight our customers, and strengthen our communities. The Summit will be broadcast live to employees from Oracle Headquarters and will be accessible from your desktop or from your local office, as well as made available for replay afterwards. More information about how to access the event will be provided shortly.

Thanks to each of you for the positive impact you have made on our company, our colleagues, our customers and our communities.

When I was a manager at Oracle and took compensation training, the instructor stated, "Oracle doesn't have to give raises because they don't have to". Perfectly sums up how they feel about their employees.

I am taking Oracle off my resume - none of it is as impressive as previous jobs - what a sad realization of wasting time working there

Any and all seemingly hard questions asked will be frowned upon and met with consequences. These are perceived by thin skinned management across the company as patently negative, insubordinate and out of bounds. Bottom line making you a target for the next round of cuts or outright firing. If a reason is needed for termination they'll make life hell for you until you quit. Either way they win. Such is the culture in the new cloud pillars.

There is no need for education at oracle and no place for thinkers or intelligence. Show any signs of smarts or make change suggestions at the worker bee levels and youll be put in your place or shown the door.

Confirmed. That's the wording in the email I received. Not fake news.
