I started to 'Break Bad' while working here around all these psychopaths. So excited on the front-end but so limited when reality set in. I could not innovate, no one had any authority, duplication of efforts, harassed, child managers, just a real outta touch place to be and resume looks like I went backwards.
Purging yourself of your Oracle 'experience' will be very helpful mentally, spiritually and on your resume. Since being laid off my family has started to notice that the real "me" is coming back to life and everyone who knows me is very happy I no longer work at Oracle.
Layoffs come out of the blue. You are let go whether you had great performance reviews or not. In the end, this place will be luck of the draw on where you end up; could be great, could be so-so, and could be just terrible. Just know this going in and good luck.
