Thread regarding Oracle Corp. layoffs

Who is gonna be next in Europe?

G'day!

Since Oracle removed Support Teams (TSC) in several European countries already, who is gonna be next? I think the countries of uncertainties now are:

Austria (?)

Belgium

Germany

Italy

Luxembourg

Netherlands

Spain

United Kingdom

Are there any reliable information about their due dates? I read several different rumors as well but I'm hoping to get some reliable information. Oracle doesn't comment about such things. That's very sad.

I'm working at Oracle Systems TSC in EMEA since more than 15yrs as well and actually hoping that I get my cancellation letter and severance package soon.

@NGDTLdX-1wgy : It's not experience, skill or higher salary that makes you a target. It's not being from Romania that makes you a target.

It's just a coincidence that Romanian TSC is made up of worthless people.

No matter where you are, if you have experience and skill (in other words, you draw a higher salary than an entry-level worker), you are a target. Oracle support will be filled with fresh out of school staff that makes only a fraction of what skilled people cost and have no hope of solving anything but the most trivial of customer issues. We are already mostly there. Most product support teams have already been purged of anyone over 25 years old or not in a low cost center.
