Australia now chasing Chevron for $1 billion - great news

Here's a link to the Australian Tax Office's latest case against Chevron on it's dodgy interest claims. Great news for the Australian tax payer. Note that She'll and Exxon have been more prudent in their loan structures and what they have claimed in interest. Shame on you Chevron!

@NGHNnoF-1dxr, Your post makes no sense. "validation from yourself"??????? Look in the mirror to see the source of the insecurity that you speak of and try to project on others.

Some current Chevron employees still visit this site because they don't fully trust the communications coming out of the leadership. They visit this site to sift through the moronic sh*t in hopes of uncovering a leaked story or a plausible rumor. If anything else, they visit this site for entertainment or to check out if the grass is greener on the other side. I can assure you that it's greener for the retirees who can afford to kick back and not greener for those who can't afford to be without a paycheck.

I think Tim Cook said it well. "Don't listen to trolls, and for God's sake don't become one."

1low - You make a good point. I often wonder why these proud Chevron employees are actually visiting this site if they are that happy in their jobs. If they visit this site during office hours I can understand they are taking a break from Facebook and other such important tasks, however if they are doing this in their own time it shows what the new Chevron is now made up of, and now stealing taxpayers money.

Proudly Chevron?

Everyday,it is looking more and more like "butthurt losers" applies to Chevron employees, not the folks let go.

Shame on you, Chevron.

Are you insecure, 1yac ? What are you trying to convince yourself of? Your posts seem to be the same thing over and over like you need some kind of validation from yourself.

Looks like occupying the twin Enron buildings is rubbing off on Chevron. Similar tactics and questionable risk taking. We all know the rest of the story.

Such a great company - more pride for another massive fine for another example of mass incompetence.

Gotta be honest. A billion is chump change in the creative accounting world, tax breaks, writeoffs, writedowns, etc.

May be it's great news for Australians. $1 billion dollars pays for a lot of schools, hospitals and infrastructure. money we need and which Chevron should not have stolen through its dodgy loan structures. Shame on you Chevron
