Techcrunch is owned by vz, same with hufpo and all the old aol sites... any vz info on those sites are filtered and approved by upper management... read them the same way you would any paid for advertisements.

There are companies that will proactively find new positions for talented employees who may be impacted. Verizon is NOT one of them. They are very good at firing people.
