but seriously.. Anyone played with the intend based network stuff they released ? Sounds like cutting edge technology, but not sure what it offers and entails inorder to get the promised heaven
ACI is an attempt to keep bread-and-butter HW revenue going and delay customers bolting to SDN. Unfortunately, all significant users of Cisco products already decided on SDN.

I guess it's a strategy of sorts.
The Networking strategy is now actually quite compelling. At last some innovation and clear execution.
When a marketing strategy becomes the actual name of the product, trouble awaits. Maybe call it DOA
DNA is the strategy and backed by Intent Defined Networking, not SDN.
The strategy that is working and selling is Meraki. The others are science projects at the point.
Seriously, can someone articulate the details?
Find another job if you don't like our lack of strategy.
