Self service is NOT being eliminated. This new program actually FORCES associates to use it versus depending on managers and ASTs to make the changes for them.

"ASTS NE DMET pilot. It's up a running and did not lessen workload. Now I enter form as Managers toO busy". ....this is not allowed in my district. I added two edits one day to help out in a pince and they were rejected because AST is not supposed to add any except their own! You need to hand it back and remind your VPSM and SMS that you are not supposed to be doing this, and stop doing them now. Your DMET is also not supposed to be accepting them when they see your ID on the form. I hope you are not using the ID of one of the SMS because that's a policy violation too.

to the ASTS-have you seen the discussion board on the portal? many stores have concerns about how they are going to cover the office and do everything with the latest cuts. AST has taken a lot of cuts this year. i believe with the introduction of some new practices down the road they think they are making the job easier, but i do not think so.

you have a hard and thankless job!!! i hope you can find something else. good luck!!!!!!

I am ASTS NE DMET pilot. It's up a running and did not lessen workload. Now I enter form as Managers too busy. Now we had final cut with no answers on how to handle the vault on 60 hours or 20 if I'm on vacation. Duties to follow but cut starts August. I feel like AST will be gone by January. But I do so much more than given credit for.

The person that just blew smoke up everyones butt with the explanation about the new DMET program is trying to defuse another major layoff. Obviously this person monitors this site and has drank the kool aid. Be careful your job is next

Cfdm- you provided the most detailed useful info yet. Curious, does this mean they will be eliminating all of the self service tools associates use also? Such as swapping, advertising, and picking up shifts? That's won't part that works amazing and it would be such a mistake to eliminate that part. The managers are already overwhelmed as it is and I can see total confusion if they eliminate self service functions.

I have some important information to share with you today and would like to discuss how this impacts you.

Over the past several months, we’ve been piloting a District My Shop Execution Team (DMET) strategy in

select locations to answer some of our workload and expense challenges around schedule edits and other

administrative tasks. In addition, this pilot also worked to improve associate engagement with more

consistent interactions between Associates and Managers when it comes to scheduling.

Based on the success of the pilot, we are creating District My Shop Execution Team (DMET) positions

in our district, which will post to My-INSITE Thursday, June 15, at 9:00 a.m. EST.

In the pilot locations many of our DMET team members including Supervisors came from existing AST

teams. If you are in good standing and meet the qualifications of the DMET positions, you are eligible

to apply (review the job description). Good standing is defined as an associate who is not on

active DML for performance.

 In addition, we are eliminating current Regional Staffing Director and District Staffing Manager positions

and creating new Regional VP and District Director of Selling Support Services positions. Impacted

Regional and District Executives may be eligible to apply for these new positions. The District My Shop

Execution Team (DMET) will report to new District Director of Selling Support Services.

 The District My Shop Execution Team (DMET) will execute store requests related to MAGIC, My

Shop, Integrated Workforce, Store Optimization, ownership targets, and budget execution. This

team will support business driving strategies related to the utilization of selling, support, executive this change centralizes the workload related to schedule

edits and My Shop strategies. When there are changes needed Managers will submit the request to

the DMET via an edit request form accessible via tablets and on the portal. MTM, Visual, and AP

executives will maintain edit access for their respective groups. Two way dialogue between DMET

and Managers will happen around each request that is denied or approved with modifications. Any

Associates whose schedules have been changed due to approved edits will receive a My Day

message directing them to review their schedule.

 To explore these opportunities, visit the career section on My IN-SITE and complete the required

information as soon as possible or no later than Friday, July 7, 2017. Interviews will be conducted

beginning Monday, July 10, 2017.

 You will be contacted by your HR Rep to discuss opportunities for which you have expressed interest.

Yes I got my news today. I don't know how they are going to run AST. There's a lot we do. I don't think they know how much ART does. Now it will be 2 people. Crazy

can they cut AST anymore?? AST was hit badly in January!!! The schedule edits is a small part of AST.

HSQ has an AST manager and 4 AST supervisors. Maybe they will eliminate one of those positions.

What about cuts to HR?? Any idea when that is coming??
