Steve Bolze quit for two reasons:

1) He was disgruntled that he didn't get the top seat even though he styled his hair so perfectly for so long.

2) He finally realized what all the employees had been saying was true, "the Alstom merger was a financial disaster ".

Put BH on zero hour contracts this would save a lot of cash. They won't like it but no need to listen to them. GE need to be ruthless to survive.
