Thread regarding Sears layoffs

I see where the poster is coming from but the company provided a lot of those years and they were good but since Eddie took over it's a different story.

I have a family member who has now given over 30 years and her store is closing. Eddie has drained the company.

I have not given as much, just since 99 and remember the good days of the company and have seen it fall apart since "he" took over.

Our ASM's were not even told ahead of time. They were told in front of everyone else before the store opened

My store is also closing now. We were told they would give us the numbers of people to call to get a job at a sears near by then 3 days later find that is closing also

Eddie's still a Hedge Fund guy, and he never was a true leader with Sears.

Eddie could have liquidated the company many years ago, yes... but you think he didn't for the people?

No. Eddie was playing the numbers and selling assets to himself over time. He doesn't need to save it from sinking, he just needs to buy himself time to get what he wants out of it. The company's treatment of associates shows exactly how they see "us"
