Phase 1 was the Technology restructure in Summer 2016 with the Digital and Nike Tech alignment. There were many layoffs and "friendly" departures at that time. Over the past 6 - 9 months. there have been significant reduction in Cyber Security and Technology via quiet walk out and voluntary terminations with no backfill, around 30% reduction. This latest round was Phase 2 (these more people that hadn't taken the hint to leave on their own previously). Phase 3 to come in the next couple months. They must do some C-Suite clean-up soon to include the CISO and his buddies. The CISO fell into this position and simply was ready! Simply put these poor people need some real leadership!
