Thread regarding General Electric Co. layoffs

What happened in Pakistan?

I've heard that a GE employee was detained in Pakistan before he could return to the US. This supposedly had something to do with a major gas turbine malfunction.

Steve Bolze once ran away during a power failure at a site where I was working in North Africa. He thought the bogeyman had cut the power in order to get him, panicked and had his driver whoosh him away! That incident didn't exactly inspire my confidence in his leadership. I see he ran from adversity yet again, too.

Shiny brand new 9HA's over there are "grounded" due to a combustion system failure in less 100 hours of operations… probably not actually detained, just have their hands full dealing with the fleet down.

Wow, I haven't heard that but it states a lot about customer anger. Send Vic Abate as he got us in this. Wait, he bailed out. Send Steve Bolze, wait, he bailed out. Send Jeff Immelt, wait, he bailed out.
