Thread regarding Lowe's Cos. layoffs

Sears, Depot, Ace and other companies need to grab these lay off Asms

If these other companies look to rise to the top, they should track the Asms that were let go, down. These 10+ yr Lowes employed Asms are what got them to the giants they are. Major experience, moral builders, sales driven, knowledgable Muscles that prooved they were the glue as look at what is going on in these stores.

Lowes loss is your gain!

Just like the Dept Mgrs that have 1 yr to get another job, go scout them out! You won't be disappointed!

No. People get out of retail. I got laid off from my Admin ASM job in January and I got an AWESOME six figure job at a place that has beer taps. F--- Lowes. F--- retail.

Unfortunately, Home Depot doesn't need those managers anymore than Lowe's does. As the 1st reply noted, these changes were simply a way of saving money (increasing shareholder profits) and that's all this company is about in the first place.

Thank you. But do they think they are "qualified enough" as that is what Lowes put in their generic let go letters??? Letters were pretty crappy. Read how these people didn't match up to "Lowes" guidelines, yet year after year in reviews they got pay increases as either they did or they exceeded their performances. Contradicting words indeed.

There is no one out there that can undo the damage Lowes has caused. Not unless these other companies understand Lowes made these layoffs to save money of which appears to be back firing on them.
