Has anyone that was effected by Tuesday's layoffs received there paperwork to sign yet? I was told it was supposed to come Friday but hasn't yet.

Your store manager should sign the form on your last work day. It should inform you of your severance pay also. If you work in the corporate office I know nothing.
I was at corporate. Contacted my personal HR rep and she e-mailed the docs to me. However, I had questions and called HR 800 number....naturally I got transferred overseas to someone who had absolutely no idea how to answer my questions. Maybe someone here can help:
1) I'm classified as an older employee and it appears I'm handled differently than those who aren't. If this is so, does anyone know how?
2) I received the TPP form. Is this all that we're to receive?
3) The docs require a signature beside mine. Who signs this? The HR rep said to take it to a store which made no sense at all. Or is this something that happens within the HR department after I send it back?
EOW-- End of Week
Called HR today as I haven't got mine (laid off at Hoffman). They said that they still hadn't gone through all the business units and would get them out by EOW whatever that means.
Still waiting. Was told it would be overnighted to house but no sign of it yet.
I worked remotely and was notified of my layoff via a phone call. Still haven't received my paperwork. Side note: the HR person on the call didn't know where I should return my laptop to. I gave him the name of a contact at the Sears facility near me. Then I had to follow up to make sure he notified them that I would be dropping off my hardware. Overall HR seems ill equipped to handle anything.
Saturday and haven't received it. My supervisor said it should've been mailed Tuesday
your SGM was supposed to give it to you with your package on Thursday...
He's probably just intoxicated. Sears will drive you to that.

@mvi all I can say is that you are a sad pedant. By the way your use of the comma and the word 'and' is incorrect you loser so how about you get yourself and education before you start lecturing those looking for help on the their spelling.
