Adjusters and claim workers at Allstate less than 10 years are losing jobs. Doesn't matter if they had a better track record than those there longer. They are gone soon. This affects thousands.

Any advice about what to do for health insurance?
Please understand that the rhyme and reason for those chosen to be laid off is money. More tenured employees have higher salaries...so they got cut. Less tenured employees receive less severance money...so they got cut. The whole process is a numbers game. It's not about customer service. It's not about employee loyalty or retention. It is only about money. That's all.
That s---s. Hard to believe that they care all that much about the customer and their customer service when they laid off high performers!
There is no rhyme or reason as to who was selected to stay or go. My best guess is the same as everything else: money.
Nope, employees that have been with the company more than 10 years were also laid off. I know of two that were with the company 30 years. It's like they picked names out of a hat. Not based on performance whatsoever
