No disrespect to AP, but I feel they are better off without them. Atleast in my store the lead or if hes the manager he seems productive however the part timer seem useless. Everytime I see him hes flirting with the girls hes just talking to other associates. He acts like hes the big shot acts like he knows what he is doing, but in the end of the day he just walks around flirting and just talking to other workers.

It's still a loss so they can use it as a tax write off.

inventory is not insured. Sears is a self insured company. Naked

Inventory is insured so if it is stolen they can get money. It seems more profitable to let people steal merchandise than for it not to sell or to sell at 90% off.

cost less to allow people to steal the inventory than the cost to sell it.

RL is risk level. The higher the number the more likely you are to have theft.

Perhaps they should spin AP off into its own publicly traded company LOLROF. Maybe I shouldn't give anyone ideas :-)

Ap is a joke now, its like trying to fight a war with 200 soldiers when you need 20000. You have to either have AP or not have AP. They may has well just completely do away with AP if you gonna do it this way

They will now have to spread 100 hours between the 3 associates if they are RL3.

Just moved someone from the floor back to LP we are supposed to be "high risk". They already have 3 plus AP manager so will they lose half of these people?

RL3 keeps the APM and goes down to 100 hours for APAs. RL2 keeps the APM and goes down to 20 hours for APAs.

We only have 2 people working AP. One is part time. The other who is the manager is full-time but not really. We are the highest level for theft even before they downgraded the security levels and reduced staff. I'd hate to see their hours cut. If it's going to be like this, why even have AP anywhere? It's negative for the AP workers and the rest of the honest associates to sort of have AP but not really.
