Currently have one manager and 3 sales reps on leave at our store. The company grinds you in to the ground, you are micro managed to death and nothing is ever good enough. People cannot use vacation or personal time when they want to and we are constantly badgered about numbers, you know it is our fault people don't want to buy useless products like hum....things never get better, in my 10 yrs with the company it has only gotten worse and worse.

Employees go out on leave/disability because Verizon doesn't know how to treat their employees. There's no room for growth and it's the same old repetitive redundant job everyday it's like eating the same exact food everyday. Then they micro manage every single thing not as a teaching tool but a tool to use to try to fire an employee. Instead of them allowing employees with 20+ years go to different jobs and get something different to do they'd rather take the counter productive approach and suspend and fire their employees so when the employee just can't take anymore of this abuse they just go on short term disability to escape. These a--holes will never learn..😠

People go out to screw the company, get paid to be on disability, people abuse it and it makes it bad when you relly get hurt...maybe the company should try to treat their people better,idk..what verizon does or does not for their employees, but i know for a fact lower manegers in verizon got screwed by losing their pensions, and all the micro manegingby the higher ups like vp's,so what the use of having 1st level maneger if they are not allowed to do tbere job, just hire clerks to do their jobs, why pay lower level manegers 100k a year if you dont let them do their job, kinda dumb

Well if you're in the retail channel it's impossible to take the time off that you need unless you're upper management. If you're in California it's super easy to get FMLA and take your vacations when you want to!

If you are like me you have so much PTO built up from strike/force labor to catch up after it. That you can take two weeks off just to get back down to the point where you won't lose it.

Because Verizon has become a soul s---ing place to work. Oh, and now the actual pay is uncompetitive with the STIs going in the crapper due to lousy performance, poor execution of bad ideas. Go90 anyone? We're the laughing stock.
