I am the original poster. I went to a large public utility company here in the Bay Area. If you are from here, you'll know that there are not many of them who use Oracle products and services.
Tell us the company name, and I will go there too.
Got laid off in November, found a new gig in 8 weeks.
Much happier now, took a 10% pay cut, I am working 50% less if compared to Oracle. My stress level is 90% less and I can see myself here for next 10 years at least.
Not sure if it's working for them though.
